Talking Heads

When Covid struck in 2020, we kept in touch with each other and the outside world via the Internet and Webcams. As he watched BBC TV each night, Paul became fascinated by how scientists, politicians, commentators, artists, and show biz celebrities used their computers in their domestic environments. The variable quality of their laptops and internet signals soon became evident. Their knowledge of how to light themselves was problematic too, but it did provide a variety of quirky images as well as a series of snapshots of that alarming period when we were all confined to our homes. Paul has created a series of self-published books of these photographs that could become a revealing archive in the future.
